The communication of the opportunistic network is to use the movement of nodes to bring the opportunity of encountering,with the “store-carry-forward” mode to forward messages.Because there is no a complete communication link between the source node and the destination node of the message,in addition to the factors such as sparse distribution of nodes and strong mobility of nodes in the opportunistic network,the message delivery rate of the opportunistic network is low and the overhead ratio is large.In order to improve the performance of opportunistic network,based on the study of classical opportunistic network routing protocols,this paper synthetically considers the information of related nodes and proposes an opportunistic network routing protocol based on node utility value and message value.The classical probabilistic routing protocols rely only on the encounter probability as the criterion for the selection of the relay node,but it does not consider the effective information related to the node's historical average encounter interval,buffer status,the change rate of node,the connection capacity of node,and the transmission capability of node.In this paper,opportunistic network routing protocol based on node utility value and message value(ONUMV)uses buffer status of node and historical average encounter interval to estimate encounter probability,which makes the calculation of the encounter probability more accurate.Then,the node utility value model is defined by the encounter probability,the change rate of node,the connection capacity of node,and the transmission capacity of node.The relay node is selected to forward the message according to the node utility value,which makes the relay node more accurate and more consistent with the actual situation.In addition,the node message forwarding mode is optimized.The message value model is defined by the encounter probability,the diffusion speed of message,the validity of message and the size of message,and calculate the value of each message in sending queue.With the help of message value,the order of message sending is determined,and the high value messages are sent first,thereby avoiding the meaningless forwarding of low value messages and wasting network resources.The simulation results show that compared with other opportunistic network routing protocols,ONUMV can effectively improve the message delivery rate,reduce the network overhead ratio and average forwarding times,so as to improve the performance of opportunistic network.
