With the development of communication and computer technology, the users' need for the bandwidth of Internet is also in ascension. As rural broadband market is getting large, it has become a new income growth area for operators. Operators have been burdened with Large-copper wire connected network and high maintenance cost.Because the development is unbalanced between urban and rural areas and the condition of receiving information is different among regions, the"last one kilometer" is terribly obvious,especially in the poor-developed area. The huge cost pressure caused by this problem is in urgent need with more effective technology to relieve.Tietong Tianshui branch was established in 2001, which is mainly engaged in co-dimensional work on fixed-line operation and listed mobile company. In terms of fixed-line operations the business are mainly focused on fixed-line and cable broadband services.With the development of the mobile phone business in recent years, the light wire was introduced in and the copper wire was abandoned, the income of traditional telecommunications has greatly declined. Because of limited investment, our company has focused on urban residential district and railway line to change the wire and check the cable lines in the rural areas of cable lines for remediation annually. But the business development was related to the rural environment, rural business is mainly located in small towns along the railway line and the operation room is shared.In order not to affect the safe operation of the train, the cable outside is buried under "Bao-lan second line".Withe the price increasing of cooper, the theft become serious, which brought big obstacle for the development in the region.The reduction of capital and the ageing of the cable and the inherent defects of wire connected are narrow frequency band, large loss, high maintenance cost, and the contradiction between the great need for bandwidth. Earlier, because of the limitation of wireless technology and equipment cost, broadband developed slowly and gradually. In recent years, with the increasing copper prices and the cases of cable theft, along with the increase of the maintenance cost, CPE technology develops by leaps and bounds and the equipment cost is declining, therefore CPE access technology increase maturity. Considering the WLAN network itself is removable,low-cost, simple and easy to use and extend, operators focused on WLAN network construction as the key point. And less investment, flexible networking, large capacity and other prominent advantages of CPE access make it a new means of rural broadband access.Our company has emphasized CPE access technology to solve the problem on network in rural areas, expanded the market and increased the satisfaction degree of using network.This paper compared the traditional copper wire network structure. It mainly introduces CPE access scheme,network structure to improve the security,reliability and efficiency of network.The band installation steps, the solutions to possible obstacles and AP configuration are introduced in this paper with the example of wireless access network of rural areas in Tietong subsidary company in Tianshui.
