As communication technology develops, it is generally know that the demand for communication speed and communication capacity becomes increasingly high. Whilst global communication spectrum is becoming more and more inadequate, it is important to make use of every frequency band. With the improvement of communication frequency, communication channel has been interfered by varieties of clutters which make the building of communication system become more difficult. The communication link building which will have a direct influence on the communication quality plays an important role in the communication system. The next generation communication frequency is 13 GHz to15GHz,in this paper, the carrier frequency of construction wireless transceiver system is 13 GHz. In this system the problems such as low communication speed, multipath decline and small communication capacity have been obviously improved. This paper based on the SDR(software defined radio) AD9361 chip launched by ADI Company, built MIMO(Multiple-Input and Multiple-Output) wireless transceiver system. AD9361 chip directly communicated with baseband signal, and baseband signal was modulated to 2GHz IF signal by configuring of AD9361 chip. After a frequency conversion, 2GHz IF was modulated to 13 GHz radio frequency port, and then it is exported to antenna to launch out.This paper firstly narrated the theory of software define radio, and mainly based on the solution of AD9361 chip MIMO wireless transceiver communication link building.Combing the basic theory of RF circuit and experience of link building, this paper described the implementation process of the whole hardware circuit building, including budget index analysis of transmission and receive chain, building process of the transmission channel and receive channel, the design of frequency source circuit, the design of micro strip filter, the design of power amplifier circuit, and AD9361 configuration, etc. Furthermore, it analyses the Radio Frequency PCB place and route and the issues appearing in practical test. Finally, it discussed and looked forward to future development of the wireless transceiver system.The design result shows that the solution of AD9361 chip MIMO wireless transceiver system could improve the communication speed, improve the problem of the signal quality's decreasing due to multipath decline. Moreover, it simplified the traditional wireless transceiver system's building process, reduced the research and development cycle and improved the integration level of the whole system. Meanwhile the system's overall performance index satisfied its original design requirement and it will have profound guide significance for the construction of the next generation wireless transceiver communication system.
