With the rapid development of computer and software technology, the existing radar modeling and simulation platform has gradually exposed its problems, such as poor compatibility and reusability, lack of function and so on.The existing platform can't satisfy the expanding radar system and the basic requirements of distributed simulation. The purpose of this paper is to solve the above problems by the development of a distributed radar modeling and simulation platform based on ZeroMQ, and provide effective help for the research of radar system.In view of the poor compatibility problems of the existing radar modeling and simulation platform,the idea of separation between computation and storage is proposed, then the modular modeling technology is used in the construction of the distributed radar modeling and simulation platform and a design scheme for a distributed radar modeling and simulation platform based on ZeroMQ is formed, the framework design, subsystem design and simulation table design are elaborated in detail. Considering the most basic communication problem of the distributed radar modeling and simulation platform, a redevelopment work on ZeroMQ open-source library is done, which provides us with a messaging middleware. The middleware is take the leading position in transmission time and occupancy of resources.Then, the programming and software development work of the semi-automatic module generating subsystem, scene setting subsystem, parameter setting subsystem, display and control subsystem, data playback sub-system are completed according to the scheme. Finally, the software testing of the whole distributed radar modeling and simulation platform is performed, which verifies the performance and reliability of the proposed distributed radar modeling and simulation platform.At present, the author has completed the design and develop of all the functions mentioned above. The distributed radar modeling and simulation platform has been put into use, the performance and stability of the simulation platform has been in line with the expected requirements, which provides convenience for the verification of radar systems.
