Analysis On The Chinese Traditional Cultural TV Quiz Shows

Under the influence of various subjective and objective conditions, Combining with chinese traditional culture, the TV quiz shows gradually formed the traditional cultural TV quiz shows, This paper took the traditional cultural TV quiz shows as the research objects, and selected six existing and typical shows in China, such as Chinese Spelling Hero, Dictation Assembly of Characters and Chinese Idiom Congress, as the research samples. Through literature research and case analysis, the paper sorted out and summarized the relevant data from angles of program positioning,the core content,the judges make,award setting and so on.On this basis,the paper summarized some characteristics of such shows and analyzed misunderstandings in the development of these programs. The traditional cultural TV shows had five characteristics,such as carry forward the excellent traditional culture, put traditional culture as the core content, inherit the characteristics of competitive and gaming from game shows. At the same time, there were still some misunderstandings in the development of these programs, such as content fragmenttation, excessive entertainment, a role in smaller of mentors, etc.It could be innovation paths of those shows to strengthen its public welfare, fade out the for-profit, strengthen the originality and become more pluralism. At the same time, it needs to balance the scale of entertainment and education.The paper defined what is the traditional cultural TV quiz show,make up for the deficiency of the existing researches,which is the main innovation of this paper.At the same time,the paper discussed the characteristics and defects of the traditional cultural TV quiz show,and try to put forward specific advice,which leaved a positive effect on how to carry forward the excellent traditional culture more effectively for the TV media.
