Radar is one of the most important means to detect targets.It has been widely used in the military,civil and scientific research,especially in the military field.All kinds of systems of radar has become one of the modern war indispensable detection equipment.In order to achieve the goal of accurate positioning and velocity measurement,the parameters measurement of the radar system must meet certain accuracy requirements.For modern radar,the precision of hardware system,signal and data processing methods are no longer the problem of the radar accuracy,and the most important factor to control the radar is the atmospheric refraction effect on the radio.At present,the radar has these functions on target such as detection,localization and tracking,etc.,but in order to improve the accuracy of radar measurement,the measurement parameters of the radar must be corrected.With the development of radar technology,the research of radar positioning accuracy is more mature,but the correction method and precision of the velocity of radar measurement is still to be further strengthened.According to the different radar velocity measurement system,the detection mechanism and measurement parameters are not the same,so atmospheric refraction error correction method also has bigger difference,and the precision of the various methods and complexity of computing is not always the same.In this paper,we mainly study the method of refractive error correction based on the Doppler principle.In this paper,the principle of Doppler velocity measurement,the basic principle and formula of atmospheric refraction error are described,meanwhile,the influence of atmospheric refraction on radar velocity measurement is given.Then the correction method of the range variation rate of the single station and multi station radar in atmosphere is described.In homogeneous atmosphere,we commonly used iterative differential or integral iteration method for target range rate error for single station radar,and proposed a high precision correction algorithm of atmospheric refraction error based on the cosine of the direction.At the same time,the feasibility of the method is illustrated by the results from the simulation experiment.In the inhomogeneous atmosphere,the method of ray gauge equation is used to modify the location and velocity parameters of the velocity measurement radar,and have achieved effective results.For the multi velocity measurement radar system,this paper gives refraction error correction method of the distance change rate of 3RR(5)radar system and continuous wave interferometer system in the homogeneous atmosphere and the inhomogeneous atmosphere.Finally,we use a full speed measuring radar system in recent years,which has the advantages of simple structure,less measuring parameters,high measurement accuracy,and strong flexibility,easy deployment.Then,we make a preliminary study on the velocity refractive error correction method under the condition of the full speed and without other tracking devices provide the initial value,and the correlation analysis was performed.
