The Design And Implementation Of Short-term Climate Forecasting System

Short-term climate change is closely related to social and economic development, the immediate task to establish the short-term climate forecasting system which will improve the capability of short-term weather forecasting service can ensure social stability and rapid development.I participated in establishment of the short-term climate forecasting system in region, and completed most of the pre-research program. The primary work is summarized as follows:(1) Intensive study of the background and development status of short-term climate prediction. Clear the significance of articles and research topics. Establish a short-term climate forecasting system to improve the quality of short-term meteorological operations and services. Reduce the intensity of short-term climate prediction science study. Provide a theoretical and practical basis.(2) Combine the actual condition and regional characteristics of Dalian’s meteorological service. Design the functional and non-functional requirements of the system. Analyze the work flow in detail.(3) Design the functional module of the system and accomplish the establishment of the data base of the system. Complete the division of the meteorological data and the control of data quality.(4) Accomplish the production work of the graph and chart for meteorological weather.(5) The system functional testing and performance testing.The subject development of the short-term climate prediction system uses the development strategy combining C/S and B/S modes. Use SQL Server database management system for data management to achieve the real time sharing of public data in internal network. Enhancing the meteorological digital information construction ability, and can solve the weather patterns on any computer graphics terminal equipment. Use the meteorological science, information technology and software development technology fully. Simplify the weather forecasting business workflow, which will release forecasters from the complex workflow freed, and improve the overall quality of the service area of short-term meteorological operations.
