Electric heater becomes indispensable equipment for winter warming because of the characteristics of small volume, quick warming and pollution-free. With the growth in living standard, the requirement of people to improve performance of the electric heater is much greater. However, electric heaters in the market generally have the disadvantages of single control mode, low precision and high loss of power because of using open loop temperature control of a few gear power regulations. To solve this problem, this paper studies the key technologies of electric heater control system and proposes a designing scheme of electric heater control system of wireless remote which includes a main engine, a remote control unit and a thermoscope. Setting a temperature sensor on the thermoscope to feedback room temperature accurately, it can realize the closed loop control of room temperature."Main engine+Remote control unit+Thermoscope" three-body electric heater control system of wireless remote with the main engine as the principal unit has the functions of fixed temperature, timing, reservation heating and so on. The remote control unit is used for setting parameters of the main engine. The independent thermoscope can feedback room temperature to the main engine. The three parts work together to realize the accurate control of the room temperature. A microcontroller STC89C52 is used as the controlling centre of the main engine, which is characterized by good thermal stability, low power consumption and high performance. The main engine can communicate reliably with the remote control unit and the thermoscope by a wireless radio frequency module nRF24L01, which has the performances of high speed, long distance and low power consumption. A LCD module JCM12864M is used to display status information and a solid state relay D4810 MGR-1 is adopted to adjust the heating power by means of square wave pulse width modulation (PWM) according to the difference between setting temperature and feedback temperature, so as to realize the accurate closed-loop control of room temperature. A low power consumption microcontroller STC15F2K60S2 with power down mode is used as the controlling centre of the remote control unit. An organic light-emitting diode OLED12864 by 0.96 inches is adopted as a man-machine interface to reduce the power consumption of the remote control unit. A temperature sensor DS18B20 is set on the thermoscope to regular feedback the room temperature to the main engine by the wireless radio frequency module nRF24L01. A LED is used to display the room temperature in order to improve the display brightness. The thermoscope also has some simple control functions. In software design, reasonable programming logic is adopted to reduce power consumption of the system, microcontroller C language is used as the programming language and Keil uVision 4 program is used to build the programming environment to achieve all functions of the system.The experiment shows that the designing scheme of the three-body electric heater control system of wireless remote can realize the accurate closed loop control of the room temperature and solve the problem of shorter battery life of the remote control unit when setting the feedback temperature sensor on it. The entire system is debugged repeatedly. Each part can communicate real-time and perform reliably. This system has a useful application prospect and market value.
