The rotameter as a typical variable cross-sectional area of flow sensor,has the advantages of the high reliability,simple structure,low cost and application widely,therefore they are widely used in the areas of food,chemical,metallurgy,oil and so on.Fluid viscosity has a great impact on the accuracy and precision of the rotameter.The program about reduce the fluid viscosity changes raises the attention of many scholars at home and abroad.This article studys the influence on the viscosity of rotameter from three aspects.From the perspective of industrial applications,the experiments and research are accomplished about 80 mm,40mm,25 mm taper pipe float sensor by the variable viscosity flow experiment device.A lot of firsthand material is acquired by the experiment.Through inductive analysis,the viscosity influence on the rotameter is summarized.Using CFD numerical simulation software,different diameter taper pipe flow sensor are simulated to get the internal flow field changes,in-depth analysis of the internal flow field change rule,summarize the viscous effect on rotameter and guide the subsequent theoretical calculation.According to the flow resistance of viscous fluid mechanics theory and the differential calculation theory,combined with the structural characteristics of cone tube float,different viscous fluid influence onthe viscosity of the taper pipe float formula is deduced.In order to better applicate in industrial field,simplify calculation steps,according to the calculated formula of viscous fluid influence on the rotameter,the viscosity influence calculation platform is designed.After a large number of real flow numerical simulation experiments and theoretical calculation,using Visual Basic and Microsoft Access database software,the platform is completed.It can realize the rotameter viscosity value compensation,greatly improving the flow sensor measurement accuracy and precision.
