In this paper, combined with the need of automation instrumentation for the different electronic, the preparatory work is carried out in the laboratory, the feasibility of this alien electronic automatic instrumentation is proved, and the research of instrumentation technology and process is carried out. According to the characteristics of the different electronic components pin, a visual inspection method is proposed in this paper. According to this method of pin offset error distribution are analyzed in the experiment. According to whether the pin offset error, has carried out two different types of instrumentation technology research, in view of the pin offset within the error range of qualified components, rigid assembly technology carried out research, and through the test of the instrumentation technology application effect is analyzed and verification; In view of the pin offset error components, instrumentation technology research was carried out by small displacement method, through the optimization of components and instrumentation action, realize the request of the ability to increase system tolerance. The results are shown as follow:1) Based on the pattern of artificial instrumentation, the corresponding mechanical instrumentation system is designed, the instrumentation system experimental platform is built, and the function of special electronic components grab- positioning- placement is realized.2) Based on image processing algorithm, special electronic components pin is tested, the pin offset error value is gotten based on pin offset error algorithm, on this basis, An evaluation method of special electronic components which can be instrumented is put forward.3) Based on machine vision to carry out the special electronic automatic instrumentation technology research, to solve the problem of automated instrumentation of most of the power components, special shape components could not be braid and cannot realize. The technology position pin for testing qualified components, on the basis of obtain components pin offset error values; and position the PCB hole after that, application of robot assembly technology, implementation of components of the instrumentation. In the technology the flexible instrumentation steps are inserted on the basis of original rigid instrumentation to increase the parts permission error range, lower deposit rates.In this article, the special electronic automatic instrumentation technology is pre-researched in the laboratory. The research results are full of certain theoretical significance and practical value in engineering for developing automation instrumentation technology and advancing electronic instrumentation equipment which is based on machine vision.
