With the continuous development of semiconductor industry and electronic industry,people’s demand of electronic products is getting bigger and bigger.Traditional method of artificial manufacturing for special-shaped components can not to meet the modernization production of electronics industry.The special-shaped component inserter machine arises at this historic moment.Shaped component inserter machine is an advanced high precision automation equipment,which includes mechanical technology,machine vision technology,industrial robot technology,computer technology,PLC technology,fieldbus technology,high precision motion control,software control and so on.Industry robot acts as the core model of this system which will take over the responsibility to insert the special-shaped components into PCB with the guidance of machine vision.This article mainly discusses visual system of the machine,Firstly,the article introduce the overall proposal of the machine,and according to the requirements of this system to choose the appropriate visual hardware and reasonable way of lighting.Secondly,study of the PCB MARK extraction method of image processing,and the algorithm of components location which based on the image contour matching method.Then,in order to achieve precise insertion of components,this paper introduces the camera calibration,hand-eye calibration and correction method of components and PCB.Finally,through a large number of experiments we proved that the used the visual algorithm of the system introduced in this paper is feasibility and stability.
