A Research On Narration Issue Of TV Civic News In The New Media Background

In recent ten years, civic news has emerged at the right moment of social transformation period in China. It grows out of nothing, and goes through the development path from "city civic news" to "national civic news", and then to "citizen news". Meanwhile, the new media suddenly rise, and the environment for it is becoming perfect gradually. There is profound connection between the TV civic news development and the news communication environment alternation of new media. On one hand, new media environment provides more extensive information source, transmission platform and channel for the civic news, including news clue, manifestation pattern, information transmission as well as feedback. On the other hand, the emergence of new media like Wechat also attracts a larger group of audience away from traditional TV screen to new media. The territory developed by the TV civic news for ten more years has been taken up by new media.With its developed character number, network technique platform, as well as new transmission mode and idea, the new media has brought narrative approach change to the existing media environment. As a result, the audience reading idea and the report narrative logic of media is changed as well. As for TV civic news, it has to figure out the make full use of the above mentioned narrative tips and experience as the instruction for its transformation practice, in order to motivate its core competitiveness under the new media background.From the civic news narration perspective, the thesis takes the civic new program City Watchman as an example to study the existing narration problems and solution for the future development of civic news in the new media environment. Firstly, the research analyzes the theory of TV civic news narration. On this basis, it analyzes the civic news types of information, appeal, investigation and warning reported by the City Watchman, from the perspective of narrative language, textual design, story narration and the formation of narrative words. The thesis studies the narration issues of the program, and proposes relevant countermeasures. Research shows that the news narration of City Watchman is not catching enough and the report is not deep enough. In addition, there is delay of narration and lack of social value. Consequently, the solution to solve the existing problems for the City Watchman is to integrate the new media idea into narration, widen the civic news narration platform and bring in the narration segment. Besides, it should bring the integrated information fragment in well-aligned narration, and plan the narration according to the interactive achievement with the new media. What's more, the narration guidance with the media convergence and all media conception should be improved, based on reinforcing the professional team construction.
