Design And Implementation Of Publication Cataloging System Based On.NET Framework

This thesis developed a Publication Cataloging System based on ADO.NET, C#, and SQLServer2008 technology, which has a rich set of functions. This thesis' s main work and contributions include the following aspects:First, this thesis uses the UML to conduct research and analysis of system function. The key business functions include booklist filling, CIP making, the ISBN management and system maintenance, a total of four modules. Besides, by using the structured flowchart modeling system function, our system makes the process more clear and explicit.Second, this thesis gives a detailed design of the system network topology structure, function framework, deployment architecture, to ensure that the system has good scalability, high speed access, safety and reliability. At the same time, the using of the E-R diagram and the structured flowchart design of the database system ensure the data library has higher memory access efficiency.Third, our work improves the system architecture. In the process of system design, the common PC system or C/S distributed management system need to install complex client software program, which has a weakness of system expansion, a high complexity on installation, operation, maintenance and management. In order to solve these problems, our work uses the B/S architecture, which divides the system into three logically independent layers. Users can get login easily using only an IE browser and simply maintain it. Moreover, it can guarantee the scalability and strong security.Finally, in the process of system design, our work joins the topic words and classification number into the system. With the analysis and management of them in database, we make the system more targets to the management of releasing ISBN with respect to sensitive topics and the publishing qualifications of a publishing firm. Which can ensure the service efficiency of the books.The experimental results show that the system operation is friendly, the function is perfect and can effectively improve the efficiency of book publishing enterprise management, optimize asset allocation of library management, realize the maximum utilization rate, and achieve good results.
