Angular velocity measurements has been developed rapidly in recent years, has been widely used in automotive safety products, GPS navigation, remote sensors, spacecraft attitude control, and many other fields. In the areas that need higher detection accuracy, the angular velocity measurements based on the fiber structure has been widely used, in which the optical fiber resonant fiber or waveguide structure is much shorter, and represent the future miniaturization of the angular velocity measuring device trend. However, the linewidth of fiber resonator limit further improving the detection accuracy of this structure. This paper presents a double loop dual-wavelength optoelectronic oscillator, a new program structure to detect angular velocity.In this paper based on dual-wavelength dual loop OEO angular velocity measurement scheme(OEO) structure of the traditional use of lightwave signal detection using microwave signal detection becomes full advantage of OEO cavity narrow linewidth, was theoretically analyzed the advantage of this structure is the angular velocity detection sensitivity detection accuracy than conventional solutions using lightwave signal, experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of using microwave detection angular velocity for the future high-precision measurement of microwave resonance angular velocity foundation.In this paper, the structure of dual-wavelength dual loop OEO has a narrow linewidth, high stability, high-side touch rejection and low phase noise and other advantages. This paper analyzes the edges touch dual-wavelength dual loop structure principle and high quality microwave source suppression compared to the previous SMSR advantage structure and the structure of the dual-loop dual-wavelength OEO phase noise and linewidth measurements, can be used as be improved angular velocity measurement accuracy, while based OEO this structure can be used alone as a microwave source of high-quality applications in many fields.This paper introduces the basic principles of optoelectronic oscillator and angular velocity measurements and the use of the advantages of dual-wavelength dual loop structure OEO theoretically derived relationship OEO and angular oscillation frequency changes, and the use of the turntable is verified in the experiment, when the turntable rotation frequency under 0.2Hz and 0.3Hz were the case, the angular velocity and the actual measured values of the angular velocity of the theoretical values calculated by agreement.Based on the new program structure dual wavelength dual loop OEO using measured angular full accumulation OEO enlarged principle, small changes caused by the Sagnac effect OEO fundamental frequency, high harmonics of the OEO has been enlarged, while the use of OEO microwave advantages cavity narrow bandwidth to achieve higher detection accuracy of microwave resonant angular velocity measurements made possible.
