With the rapid development of mobile Internet, people's demand for LBS(Location Based Services) has been more wide. LBS plays an important role in social network, electronic business and intelligent hardware and other fields. As 3G(3rd Generation) and 4G(4th Generation) network are widely deployed, the rapid development of wireless cellular communication also put forward higher requirements on the LBS(Location Based Services). In a word, the outbreak of mobile Internet and the rapid development of cellular wireless communications have both present new challenges and requirements on the positioning technology, and they also promote the research and development of positioning methods.This thesis analyzes the existing researches of various used mobile positioning algorithms, and then proposes a multi-fingerprint improvement positioning method based on fingerprint positioning. Then conducts the cluster and discrimination analysis based on the data and SAS and SPSS statistical analysis software, and then analyzes and compares the positioning result.This thesis realizes the positioning algorithm by writing codes with the SAS and SPSS software and conducting cluster and discrimination with the data. And the thesis also proves that the multi-fingerprint method can improve the accuracy of positioning. On the base of analyzing the existed mobile positioning methods and the factors that affect the result of positioning, details are as following:(1)This thesis proposes multi-fingerprint modifying method based on the fingerprint positioning method. The method can be used to improve the accuracy of positioning as it conducts some processing about the data to reduce the error caused by the time-varying measuring result. Then design the basic flow and procedure of positioning demonstrates the data processing technology and online matching technology.(2) Design the experiment scheme which the first one is the discrimination based on latitude and longitude and the second one is discrimination based on BCCH level. Then base on a large number of data, write codes with the SAS and SPSS tool, establish the fingerprint database by the cluster process and match online by the discrimination process.(3) Conduct the (2) process with the basic fingerprint algorithm and multi-fingerprint algorithm under different sampling density, and compare and analyze the result of positioning. The result of the method proves that the accuracy of positioning can be improved by the multi-fingerprint method. Then this thesis analyzes the source of error and some optimization methods.
