With the development of mobile communication systems, network-based positioning technology has been widely used in people’s daily lives. However, there is large contradiction between the increasingly demand for business users and the existing positioning system resources. This paper firstly points out the positioning technologies based on LTE-A system, and then researches the network based wireless positioning enhancement algorithms, including heterogeneous networks E-CID positioning enhancement algorithms, multi-point collaboration networks OTDOA positioning enhancement algorithms, RFPM of positioning enhancement algorithms. The proposed multi-enhancement algorithms have been analyzed by simulation based on the LTE-A standards, with been better positioning performance.This paper proposes the ABS and Winner filtering principle in heterogeneous network based on the existing E-CID positioning algorithms to improve the mobile station UE Rx-Tx measurement accuracy. After the detailed analysis of the simulation modeling methodology, including the transmission module, receiver module and EVM noise module, lots of simulations are performed and prove the improvement of proposed algorithm for better UE Rx-Tx measurement accuracy and positioning accuracy.For the OTDOA positioning methods, positioning accuracy depends heavily on the reference signal received and the first estimate of signal path, and thus selecting of the appropriate positioning cell is very important. The OTDOA enhancement positioning algorithm in Collaborative multi-point networks proposed in this paper only selects the cell, which has a good signal quality between the base station.Then the user multi-point collaboration collection station should be selected as priority positioning measurement cell, the remaining positioning measurement station according to positioning requirements and to select a sorting signal quality.The algorithm can effectively reduce the positioning delay, while increases the positioning accuracy. In addition, this paper focuses on the introduction of muting causes, and simulation modeling methods, including positioning process, positioning the cell selection methods, and detailed analysis of the search window. After a large number of through simulation, verification can be improved by introducing muting positioning accuracy.Finally, this paper presents RFPM positioning enhancement algorithms, which use the information from multi-RAT and make the dimension increases, thereby increase the positioning accuracy.
