With the rapid development of the Internet industry, the number of IDCs increases rapidly in order to provide basic services, and at the same time, room regulatory issues, energy issues and security issues become more prominent. The promotion of IDC integrated monitoring levels will ensure the stable expansion of related services for telecom operators and save related investment for telecom operators, and it's also an effective means to coordinate the relationship between the low-carbon economy and the Internet boom. On the other hand, the rapid development of the Internet of Things and related technologies provides new ideas and support to make the IDC monitoring intelligent and systematic.This topic analyzes the current situation and deficiency of IDC monitoring system at home and aboard. At present, domestic room monitoring field gives priority to independent monitoring equipment, which makes collaborative work among devices difficult, and foreign related company's one-stop solution need to be designed and deployed synchronously in the early of room construction, which also at a significant cost.Based on above context, taking IDC integrated monitoring-related demand into consideration, combined with the status quo in related fields at home and abroad, applying ideas and related technologies of the Internet of Things, the information will be uploaded by the transport layer to comprehensive data analysis platform through the installation of various types of sensor nodes objects to be monitored, which monitors the IDC environment, equipment, power and other operating status effectively, and makes real-time response through a feedback control system by analyzing status information, adjusts the room environment, warning safety hazards or informs room administrator of related information, and improves the energy efficiency of the room, security and management level promptly and comprehensively.The system in this paper is made of the IT equipment monitoring system, the whole life cycle materials management system, environmental monitoring system, power monitoring system, security warning system, the transport layer data aggregation system, inter-layer management host, integrated data analysis platform on application layer, and feedback control system on service layer. This paper involves the parts in addition to the IT equipment monitoring system, which include the overall framework and topology design, system communication protocol design, system hardware design and the design and implementation of the software design of the various subsystems. The process of hardware and software design and implementation focus on solving the core of difficult issues, including the problem of low-power devices, stability of wireless communication, rationality of communication protocol design, the amount and real-time of device data, the means of transmission to achieve energy efficiency and strategy of platform analysis and optimization.This system achieves the desired design requirements, and an experimental test platform has been deployed in the Shenyang wave of Innovation of science and Technology Co., Ltd. This system realizes the function of displaying IDC equipment information, temperature and humidity, part of "hot spots" temperature, real-time data upload of various power supply, monitoring sensitive areas where leak, smoke detector and condition of personnel activity, and the gathered data can be uploaded to the integrated data analysis platform which completes the data analysis, display, and feedback regulation through the transport layer network. This system possesses a high degree of cost-effective, easy to deploy, and high degree of systematization etc, which especially apply to small and medium-sized IDC that have been put into used in domestic. This system can improve the management efficiency and energy efficiency level of the IDC from all aspects and save related investment for telecom operators and enterprises after being put into application.
