Amounts of sensors are deployed randomly or according to suitable point of interest(POIs).Those sensors can connect and communicate with each other through the definite routing protocol.For a certain sensor,its communication radius is constant and all sensors whose distance less than the certain radius can receive the monitoring data which sent from the certain sensor.Similarity,all the nodes work together and this network is named Wireless Sensor Network.Compared to the manual operation,sensors demonstrates their substantial advantages,especially for some burdensome repeated jobs such as monitoring in the dangerous environment,detecting for a long time and so on.Therefore,the application of WSN is undoubtedly increasing in the recent years.However,constrained by the cost of sensors,the resource is correspondingly limited,especially for the shortage of energy.To address the problem,numerous professors have done amounts of research for all the layers of WSN.They attempt to decrease and balance the consumption of the energy of the network to ensure the stable transmission of monitoring information in the network.After several years' research,there are still some disadvantages such as the lack of equilibrium,the inefficiency of transition and the short-lived base station.Based on the prior work,the advantage of distributed cluster and the technology of virtual MIMO have been well understudied.In this paper,we propose a novelty distributed cluster algorithm to address the problems of inefficient transmission and an additional solution is also designed to moderate the ephemeron of base station.The details are described as follows.(1)A distributed cluster algorithm.The parameters of the algorithm include the remained energy of each node,the level of power and the cost of communication within a cluster.Meanwhile,a rotational mode of cluster head is adopted to balance the energetic consumption within a cluster.Furthermore,to apply the virtual MIMO suitably,we extend the proposed algorithm and greatly increase the efficiency of data transmission.(2)A specially method is designed to address the problem of ho t area.Firstly,the network will be divided into two areas: generally region and hot area district.The communication radius of sensors in the hot area is decreased when we are clustering.In this way,after clustering,the consumption of sensors in the same cluster can be saved and the saved energy can be employed to transmission between clusters.Finally,simulations is also implemented to authenticate the proposed algorithm.
