The image signal has visualization,understandable, intuitive and informative features.It is one of the most abundant source of information.As one of the main sources of human information,the importance of image processing technology is self-evident to people.It has been widely used in all aspects of military, industry and people's daily life.However,it is a great challenge to transmission and storage digital image.So,the traditional image sensor, data acquisition card, computer display mode can not meet the requirements.So,the real-time image compression encoding is very important.For the specific occasions of image processing to get the ideal image is imminent.With the development of modern science and technology,people demand for the image acquisition and processing quality continuous improvement.It put forward higher requirements on the performance and real-time image acquisition system.As for the underground parking lot of the image processing system requires real-time security image definition put forward higher challenge.FPGA has been widely used with its strong parallel processing ability in image.Because of its special structure makes,DSP chip has great advantage in dealing with complex algorithm.In the realization of image algorithm has a certain application.For the large amount of data and image data of serious noise interference,the use of single chip DSP system is difficult to meet the requirement of real-time performance.This paper adopts the structure of FPGA and DSP to realize real-time image acquisition and processing system,mainly divided into two parts:FPGA is responsible for image acquisition and preprocessing,DSP is responsible for the compression of the image.Using FPGA running speed, parallel processing ability to complete the "logarithm stretching" algorithm of camera data preprocessing,and the parking lot kind of dim light image brightness uneven distribution of the image becomes clear. Using DSP has the advantages of high processing complexity algorithm to compression the data from FPGA transmission over the block image data using the JPEG parallel algorithm.The experimental results show that using FPGA and DSP structure can solve the real-time image acquisition system requirements,dealing with the image data in dark places with logarithm stretching algorithm can effectively enhance the image and the image brightness uneven distribution becomes clear;Using parallel JPEG compression algorithm in FPGA before sending the data to a twodimensional image block,reduction in processing time.Although the JPEG compressed image lossy compression algorithm,but at the same time can make the information transmission quantity is reduced effectively preserving the original image details, to achieve the desired purpose...
