At present, in the military equipment of the microwave equipment as a first level maintenance system, mainly rely on the microwave system self-test function. Through the microwave internal design of a part of the monitoring circuit (BIT), with the software for online inspection, but because there is no testing equipment, the current BIT is mainly a qualitative analysis of the microwave, quantitative detection technology is not enough* can not be found in the microwave system function and performance index of slow degradation. Therefore, the maintenance of the basic level can only rely on the detection of LRU BIT extension for the repair. Due to the above reasons, he use of units of the design unit is relatively strong, the maintenance of microwave equipment often need to rely on manufacturers or design units to carry out, which resulted in the low efficiency of microwave protection, high cost.The main work of this paper is to design a set of testing system for the inspection and maintenance of the microwave and other information equipment. This system is used in the ground information radar products, which is based on the GPIB bus automatic test and maintenance system, which is composed of general test instrument, LAN-GPIB interface card and the signal transfer center, general controller and so on. It runs on XP Windows operating system. In addition to the base level maintenance support. The system can also be as large scale early warning detection radar substation equipment maintenance for timely detection circuit of the system, components, modules and performance status, determine the fault position and real time protection of the intact and combat effectiveness.The establishment of a comprehensive test system of module has a very practical significance, which can be realized in the three and three levels of protection for the microwave to carry out efficient, quantitative, accurate, automated testing and maintenance. Can effectively upgrade the testing and maintenance unit, the key functional units of the microwave can be tested, reduce the technical requirements of the actual operator.
