This paper plans the gross project of the minitype video-transmitting system. The project is divided into two parts. The first part, which deals with the fundamental function, has been done in this paper.The application environment of the system is considered first in chapter 2, and the path attenuation estimated. Chapter 3 designs a frequency synthesizer using a programmable synthesizer to drive a VCO, which achieves high stability and low phase noise. In chapter 5, a complex programmable logic device (CPLD) is used to excute the system's logic control function and simplify the structure of the control system. The last two chapters demonstrate the whole design of the transmitter and the receiver in detail.In this paper, some circuit analysis software are applied to optimize the behaviour of critical elements.
