The software process has been considered an important means to solve the software crisis since it has been proposed.As software process assessment becoming the most basic method of software process improvement, researchers pay more and more attention to software process assessment. Software Process Assessment is a key factor restricting software process improvement. Based on the referenced generalized quality system and the existing comprehensive evaluation method,this paper creates a generalized quality system to support the trusted software process and comprehensive evaluation method based on the measuring of medium truth scale.This paper studies some influential software process quality model, such as SW-CMM/CMMI model, ISO/IEC 12207 model and ISO/IEC15504 model. And through the referring to the generalized quality system of traditional industries and the analysis of current software process requirements,create a new software process evaluation.By employing “quality-quality characteristics- quality indicators” three-tier architecture, the proposed model is more reasonable. At the last, after the deep research of available literature, the weight value template of the model is given under the general background by the analytic hierarchy process.The problem of Software process quantitative evaluation is a typical member of the multi-attribute decision making problems. There are still many uncertainties during software process evaluation process. To solve this problem, according to the measuring of medium truth scale, the predicate description and mapping function are fixed on the component reliability model. A medium weighting method is introduced which grades reliability's scores with the concept of super-truth and establishes judging matrix. Finally the medium weighting method's effectiveness was validated through the experiment.A software process quality evaluation system was designed and implemented at the last part. And comparing with three sets of components to prove the software process quality model proposed in this paper using the system. The experimental result indicated that the software process quality model and medium weighting method in this article has taken an ideal effect.
