With its unique flexibility/scalability and efficient, low-cost manufacturing process, flexible electronics have a wide range of applications in the field of information, energy, health care, defense and so on. The flexible electronics can be produced by Roll-to-Roll process which the correction system is indispensable, and deviation controller is the center of the correction system, which can directly determine the effect of correcting the flexible web and thereby affecting yield of flexible electronics products. This paper researched the hardware design, software system architecture and algorithm design of deviation controller and so on, mainly including:Firstly, designed the overall program of the deviation controller, which met the functional requirements of correction system in the flexible web conveyance, while did the selection of the key hardware modules.Secondly, designed the core modules of the deviation controller, which including the correction sensor signal acquisition module, motor drive module, display operation modules, communication modules and so on. The program could accommodate multi-standard signal input of correction sensors and multi-type signal output of drive motor.Then, set the overall software framework of the deviation controller, put forward fuzzy self-adjusting PID algorithm for the control of motor in the correction system, which integrates the fuzzy control theory; designed two correction system cooperative control algorithms,which the goals were reducing the position offset and angle offset.Finally, the actual fact verified the designed deviation controller. Based on the flexible web conveyance test platform, did experiments of the deviation controller work alone and cooperative control, and the result proved that the fuzzy self-adjusting PID control algorithm have better correction effect, which the correction accuracy can up to ± 0.18 mm.The actual test proved the proposed deviation controller, which integrated hardware and software solutions, had good correction effect, and could meet the control requirements of flexible web in the roll-to-roll process, and it can be used in actual production of flexible electronic.
