With the great development of electronic information technique, RFID technology is wildly expanded in logitics trades etc. The expansion showed the excellent properties of electronic tags, which make people be on the tiptoe of expectation for the spread use. At the same time, the making equipment and production techniques have been the chokepoints that confined the low-cost production of electronic tags.The research content of this paper is the research and design of the flexible substrate conveyance equipment for RFID electronic tags. According to the characteristic and difficulties of the study of the flexible substrate conveyance system, this paper focuses on tension control, meander control and conveyance motion control.In the part of tension control, the theory model of tension control in flexible substrate conveyance is firstly analyzed. As a result, it gets the tension control's characteristics. And then, from the compared triple tension control structures, it attains the optimized project, which including tension detector, magnetism powder brake and spring-swing device. Finally, the project gets synthetically designed.In the second part, based on the introduction of meander system control of rolling transmission, difficulties in rectifying the deviation of the flexible substrate conveyance are analyzed. The optimized meander control system is schemed out, where the linear array CCD detector is the principle unit.On the ground of the characteristics of servo control system, the PMAC motion control system is worked out. And the simplified mathematical model of the control system is built, which is simulated by the software of MATLAB. In the end, the PMAC PID control tuning curves illuminate the eximious properties of the system.Finally, it generally introduces the mechanical structure, the work progress, and the software operation of the whole equipment. It summarizes the achievement of this research project. The conclusion of this paper has been used in industry production, and gets good result. On the other hand, it may provide some useful guidance for the follow-up research and similar production on equipment development.
