With the continuous development of computer networks, network theory and design has become a compulsory course for computer, communications, automation and other professions. Complexity of computer network knowledge makes it difficult to be fully grasped and comprehensively understood for students, and therefore the experimental support of the computer network teaching is necessary. Although current research and construction of the experimental system of computer networks have made some achievements, some problems are still remained to face. Therefore, further research on network experimental system is of significance in both theory and practice.Ubiquitous learning theory is a new teaching philosophy on the basis of the current education informatization, and the development of virtual simulation technology makes it possible that the actual network can be effectively replaced by virtual network system in scientific research, and this is why the topic combines them and the concept that virtual network experiment system based on ubiquitous learning which is proposed. Introducing of the concept of ubiquitous learning in the virtual network experiment system contributes to solve many problems that exist in the current network experimental teac hing curriculum, making the virtual network experiment platform open, ubiquitous, interactive and evolutionary.Based on the proposed virtual network experiment system model, The system is developed by HTML5 and.NET, integrating the current classic network simulation software NS2, NS3 and Dynamips. Layer design idea and middleware technology have been adopted to realize the system architecture and scalability of architecture. Including experiment generated, experiment platform and experiment resource management and communication functions, the system also contains the corresponding experiment scheme, which includes the network architecture, network organization, network applications and system configuration experiments, covering of the current computer network curriculum teaching content. To verify the validity of the system, the testing processes are given out and examples are used to test. The experimental result shows that by seamlessly combination of multiple simulation software, the system can meet the computer network curriculum teaching of experiment content, mana ge the active evolution study and experiment resource, expand on the architecture and function according to the needs of the future. The system meets the demand of the learning concept with availability and ease of use, achieving the proposed design goal of the network experiment system.
