| With the improvement of people’s living standard, intelligent life has become a new trend of lifestyle. Household robots can meet the demand by playing important roles in many cases. Safe, stable and reliable communicating network is essential to household robots in their realization. The thesis is mainly about how to build a reliable household robots communicating network.Because of the heterogeneous application situation, most of the household robot system consist of several robots. They transfer data with each other through the radio network. Meanwhile, it’s necessary for robots to connect to the Internet. Users can monitor robots in their home anywhere and anytime through the Internet. To meet these major demand, the thesis puts forward the solution that IPv6 network works together with the radio. Having 6Low PAN adaptation layer working between the IPv6 and IEEE802.15.4, a complete network model is established. The integrated network chose the high-performance ones as the router-robot and others as the node-robot. Router-robot is connected to the internet available in house through wireless network card. As the border router, the router-robot helps the node-robots to communicate with internet. Till now, every robot in the system can be accessed freely through the internet. Also, to make the access more formal, constrained application protocol is used to fulfill the robot application.Finally the thesis tests the network solution comprehensively. The result shows that the network solution directed to the household robots system works well. |
