According to growing energy demand, human society fall into energy crisis and environment destruction, Energy saving and exhaust emissions is turn to be the hot topic of all field of society. As an advanced green technology Thermoelectric generation technology is feasible scheme to solve the problem of energy sources and environment pollution, meanwhile vehicle exhaust waste heat recycling generate power for the automotive electrical equipment. PDA terminal is used as wireless data monitoring device for thermoelectric power generation system in order to avoid interference of the ambient temperature and background noise. In terms of experimental data to evaluate thermoelectric power generation efficiency and waste heat utilization. This thesis introduces automobile exhaust thermoelectric power generation system research background; propose thermoelectric power generation wireless monitoring solution. The main research contents are as follows:Based on the Auto exhaust thermoelectric power generation system, it proposed the whole system design and main functions of wireless monitoring solution including four layer's definition, two level pattern, and a database. With the help of Unified Modeling Language(UML) to define system detailed design, the Visual Studio 2008 is choose as a development tool for wireless monitoring system design, Windows CE is the operating system of development environment.The research designed communication strategies for Auto exhaust thermoelectric generation wireless monitoring system, studied the wireless communication mode between client and server, underline the wireless communication protocol and data check mode, RF chip is selected as data transmission module of the AP client, propose the wireless communication system network programming language to establish the AP and PDA WIFI network connection.According to thermoelectric power generation wireless monitoring system data capacity analysis, build up the database prototype with SQLite database to utilized PDA as wireless monitoring device. Introduced compile of SQLite library files and the application of class encapsulates the functions, define data format, achieved the data real time storage.Studied exhaust thermoelectric generation wireless monitoring solution testing case, in terms of practical situation analysis. Determined the scheme of communication system testing and data monitoring programs testing. According to an Auto exhaust thermoelectric power generation system performance analysis, do the calculate waste heat recycling rate, the experimental results demonstrate that the system achieved the desired value.
