Based on the laboratory project " the RM20-6 type of computer control system of automatic allocation of sodium silicate", with the aid of remote monitoring technology and the combination of control system, monitoring system and information system, the remote monitoring system based on network of allocation of sodium silicate was designed, which made the staff needn't to monitor the status of equipment running, control the operation of system, change the process parameters and view statements on the scene. The details of thesis are presented as follows:Firstly,according to the requirements of system design of the manufacturers and development resources provided by the manufacturers, the overall structure of the system was designed. The function the field monitoring terminal of system, field server, remote data transmission system, the client of monitoring center and reporting system were respectively introduced. Through the analysis and comparison of three types of sockets and their advantages and disadvantages of programming, and the characteristic of the UDP and TCP protocol, the system selected the streaming socket blocking way, TCP transport protocol to written long-distance data transmission system.Secondly, design and implement the function module of field monitoring. Through the comparison of PLC communication protocols and the compatibility between PLC and VC, the communication scheme of the monitor module is chosen. With the use of the thought of TCP three-way handshake, the serial communication mode between the site monitoring module and PLC were designed, which realized communication between PLC and field monitoring software. According to the system monitoring task, the login interface?parameter setting interface and the main process interface of on-site monitoring module was designed.Thirdly, the multithreading was used to design the software of server and client to prevent feign death and information transmission congestion. In order to ensure the reliable data transmission between server and client, the TCP/IP protocol was used as the data transfer protocol to the communication module between the server and client and display the results.Finally, Visual Studio 2005 and crystal reports technology are used to design local report query system and network reporting system. Access database was chosen to store date and it connects VC by the way of ODBC. The local report was designed to prevent special circumstances, such as broken network and equipment failure which may cause the network report can't print. The design of network report realizes the function of viewing and printing the report through the browser for all the departments of the factory.From the theory analysis to practical design scheme of the system, the article comprehensively expounds the design process of the remote monitoring system of allocation of sodium silicate based on network and implements the mixing remote monitoring which is given priority to on-site monitoring and the remote monitoring is complementary. And the network query of report is also implemented.
