The human voice is the primary means of communication and exchange. With the development of the computer and network communication technology, long-distance voice transmission has become possible and become the main way of human communication. But the voice communication is threatened by the openness of computer network. In addition, the voice data is large and the traditional cryptography algorithms cannot meet the real-time requirements. Thus more and more researchers focus on the security problem of voice information transmission.Chaos, as a special dynamic system, has inherent randomness, initial sensitivity and other characteristics. These characteristic can be used to solve the security problems in voice communication. The paper research the chaos encryption of voice. After studying the background of voice encryption and the chaos theories, this thesis design and simulation analysis an improved chaotic circuit module based on Lorenz. The Lorenz chaotic signal generator has a simple structure and the parameters can be adjustable. The effectiveness of the chaotic signal generator has been verified by the actual circuit and simulation experiments.On the other hand, the advantages and disadvantages of chaos masking algorithm based on chaotic synchronization features have been analyzed, and a new voice encryption solution based on the drive-response synchronization has been proposed. This solution increases the keys space and the difficulty of deciphering. It can improve the security of voice transmission effectively. Moreover, the superiority of security and anti-jam capabilities in digital signal processing are used to design a microcontroller-based voice encryption system. The system has flexibility design, low computational complexity, high security and better quality of the decrypted voice signal.
