| Nowadays, wireless communication equipments are making progress in each passing day. Smart phone has become an indispensible helper for office, communication and entertainment. Among various mobile platforms, Android has enjoyed rapid development with its incomparable openness. Smart phone equipped with Android is being applied to more and more fields. As need for Android smart phone increasing day by day, we begin to find ways of improving productive process at software level. And automatic test tool is one of them. There are examples which mainly designed for automatic function test and execution. More specifically, test process is divided into two steps. Firstly, test engineers input sample data according to requirement. Secondly, they run the tool and get test data. This method seems quite inefficient when messes of test items need to be handled. After analyzing several examples, I put forward a plan to improve automatic test tool for smart phone, which is based on Android platform.By studying at test process for Android client and analyzing hierarchical relation of framework of Android automatic test, I managed to design an integrative tool for the whole test process. This tool comprised of four modules:equipment connection, test script, test result comparison and run-time control. Steps like creating test module, compiling test script, running script and outputting test result are implemented automatically. Manufacturers can promote efficiency and quality of smart phone test while shortening test circle and saving cost. This is a practical tool worthy of wide popularization. Still, there are limits for this tool and further improvement is possible. |
