Alfred North Whitehead(1861-1947)is a famous mathematician,philosopher and educator in Britain.As the founder of the philosophy of process,his influence was worldwide and cross century.Since twenty-first Century,The process thought has been paid attention to,studied and applied in many fields because of its profound,inclusive and constructive characteristics,and gradually shows its vitality.Its educational thought,as an extension of its process philosophy in the field of education,has also received extensive attention.Beijing Whitehead international kindergarten is the first internal kindergarten which named after Whitehead.It takes Whitehead's philosophy and education thought as the main ideas and focus on solving the prevalent problems in kindergarten teaching in China,such as only focus on the child's surface interest,kindergarten teaching content primary tendency,etc.,and quite effective.Its unique teaching idea and practice in Beijing changping district which near a garage transformed from a old printing factory and transportation is not very convenient,attracts a lot of parents.The number of students is on the rise year by year,and gradually get more and more parents recognition,become a shining star among numerous features kindergarten,so Beijing whitehead international kindergarten of experience is worth to study and reference.Examine its teaching,whitehead's philosophy,education thoughts of ecological implication among them.Therefore,in this paper,the author will be based on whitehead's philosophy,education thoughts,based on the Beijing whitehead kindergarten teaching practice to construct a kind of children's ecological concept of teaching.There are four parts in this paper,and the specific contents are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly discusses the reasons for the topic selection,research summary,research contents,research methods,and the significance and innovation of this paper.The second chapter discusses the theoretical basis of the ecological teaching concept,including its philosophical thinking,namely,process principle,relevance principle,the theory of prehensions and educational idea,namely the rhythm of education and contact learning.The third chapter mainly deals with the problems in the kindergarten teaching in China.It mainly includes five aspects: on the teaching content,there is the tendency of primary school teaching,specifically can be divided into two aspects: one is the focus on knowledge transfer ignore the child's meaning of life and value;the second is the choice of teaching content ignores children really need;in the teaching process,children's superficial interest is only concerned;In the teaching method,the method of children's direct experience is not enough;In game teaching activities,games are regarded as only tools to transfer knowledge;In teaching environment,the interaction between environment and children is insufficient.The fourth chapter discusses the construction of children's ecological concept of teaching,mainly includes four aspects: the target of teaching is to pursue integration in each field,and to pay attention to the formative target;pay attention to individual children in the selection of teaching content,to highlight the value of life;in the teaching process to emphasize the romantic and freedom,the development of children's real interest;emphasize contact learning in teaching methods,to cultivate children's romantic spirit;This part is the key point of this study,and it is also an innovation.
