The growth of healthy human capital is an inexhaustible motive force for the promotion of national economy and individual development. The influence of sibling numbers on the accumulation of human capital in individuals or countries is a classic issue in family economics.According to Becker's theory of Quality-Quality Tradeoff and the Resource Dilution Theory proposed by Black, the larger family size, the lower quality of children in the family and the less family resources the individual receives.China's Family Planning Policy has improved China's education and health human capital by controlling the number of children in families. However, the differences in the implementation time, methods, and content between Han family and Ethnic in the Family Planning Policy have largely contributed to the difference scale between Han and Ethnic families. This study examined whether differences in the number of siblings among ethnic groups led to differences in the health of children between Han and ethnic groups in the context of Family Planning Policies. It also aims to test whether the Quitity-Quality Tradeoff Theoty and Resource Dilution Theory are valid in the Chinese context. This study uses the data from the China Family Panel Studies 2010(CFPS2010)to reach the following conclusions.Firstly, judging from the Z score bias value of children's physical health, the more brothers and sisters are positively correlated with children's health bias value, and there is no significant between ethnic groups. The number of brothers are related to children's physical health.Secondly, judging from the cognitive ability of children's intellectual health, the number of siblings, male compatriots, female compatriots, older compatriots, and younger compatriots are all negatively correlated with children's cognitive ability. There is a significant difference in cognitive ability among ethnic groups, which is mainly generated by the number of male compatriots and younger compatriots. With the increasing number of male compatriots and younger compatriots, the gap in cognitive ability between Han and Minority children is widening.Thirdly,Judging from the degree of depression of children's mental health, the number of siblings is negatively correlated with the degree of depression of children, and there is no difference among ethnicgroups. The more female compatriots and sister numbers, the stronger degree of depression of children. The greater the number of female compatriots and sisters, the greater the degree of depression in children. These results show that under the background of Family Planning Policy, the differences in the number of siblings have expanded the differences in children's cognitive ability between ethnic groups. This difference has not been reflected in children's physical health and mental health.
