The modern educational reform advocated that we should carry out the Party’s Educational Policy in an all-round way,take high moral values establishment and people cultivation as the fundamental task of education,develop quality education,promote educational equality and cultivate all-round development of socialist builders and successors.Since the modern education reform,China has continuously promoted the transition from exam-oriented education to quality education;besides,China has stepped into the powerful country of human resources with the development of economy,science and technology.In order to comply with the requirements of national development and meet the country’s demand for talented people,modern education should continue to promote the all-round development so that they can improve themselves,to improve their scientific literacy through learning and education,which can meet the national demand for talent.However,influenced by traditional examination-oriented education,there were a handful of schools still paid more attention to the student’s academic performance,while ignored the development of other aspects.In order to promote the all-round development of students,the extra-curricular biological activities were carried out,which can promote the further development of the students through the expansion of extra-curricular biological activities.The extra-curricular biological activities were the extension of classroom teaching which had the characteristics of practicality,openness,flexibility and adjustment.This study which researched the expansion of the extra-curricular biological activities in senior high school,illustrated the principle of the extra-curricular biological activities,including the principle of combing with classroom teaching,the principle of unification of science and artistry,the principle of combining the initiative of students with the guidance of teachers,the principle of generative,and the principle of adapting measures to local conditions and adapting measures to the times.Besides,corresponding to the teaching principle,these implementation strategies “to contact with the knowledge of teaching materials closely,to connect with the daily life,to let the student’s play a main role in teaching,to combine with the digital laboratory to carry out extra-curricular biological activities,to evaluate the effect of the extra-curricular biological activities”were put forward,which could achieve the biology curriculum standard and the requirement of new curriculum reform,thus cultivating students’ biological science literacy,improving students’ learning ability,and increasing theefficiency of class-teaching,etc.At the last,the several cases of extra-curricular biological activities were designed on the basis of principles and implementation strategies.The purpose of this study was to advance students’ interest in biology,to improve students’ ability to operate and to enhance their biological literacy through the development of extra-curricular activities in biology.
