The basic goal of basic education mathematics curriculum reform is to improve students' mathematics literacy.In order for students to obtain the necessary and higher math literacy,teachers play a key role,which means that teachers themselves must have a higher level of mathematics literacy.Pre-service elementary school mathematics teachers are about to embark on a job.Do they have enough mathematics qualities? How to upgrade mathematics literacy of pre-service elementary school mathematics teachers? These issues are worthy of our in-depth research.Therefore,it is important to carry out research on the current status of mathematics literacy for pre-service elementary school mathematics teachers and to carry out practical research on improving mathematics literacy for pre-service primary school mathematics teachers.Theoretical and practical significance.The study of this article is mainly divided into three aspects:1.To determine the connotation of mathematical literacy for pre-service primary school mathematics teachers: on the basis of a large number of relevant literature,the connotation of mathematical literacy of pre-service primary school mathematics teachers under the background of the new curriculum is discussed.The mathematical literacy of pre-service primary school mathematics teachers is defined as the necessary mathematical aspects of the individual in order to meet their own development and social development.Character and ability are the combination of mathematical knowledge,thinking method,ability and mathematics view.2.To determine the current status of mathematics literacy for pre-service elementary school mathematics teachers: to compile a questionnaire on mathematics knowledge and mathematics perspectives,and to test the mathematics thinking methods and mathematics competence.To issue questionnaires to conduct surveys,collect data,and use a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis.Methods Statistical analysis was conducted to obtain the status of mathematics literacy forpre-service elementary school mathematics teachers.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Knowledge of mathematics curriculum in primary and secondary schools,knowledge of light and advanced mathematics;(2)Knowledge of heavy mathematics,light of mathematical thinking;(3)Value of heavy mathematics tool,light of humanistic value of mathematics;(4)Heavy mathematics thinking Ability,light mathematics communication ability and modeling ability.3.According to the inadequacies of the current state of mathematics literacy,the corresponding promotion paths are proposed:(1)master the mathematics knowledge of primary schools under the high viewpoint;(2)excavate the mathematics thoughts and methods contained in mathematics knowledge;(3)establish a blend of humanities and mathematics Learning concepts;(4)improving mathematical communication and modeling capabilities.
