With the arrival of the information era,all kinds of electronic products have been popularized among the crowd,which makes fragmented and mobile learning possible.At the same time,it also brings new opportunities for education,allowing the information technology to apply to education and teaching.Under such a background,Micro-class gradually enters people's horizon,and also the classroom.Micro-class,as a relatively new thing,has been favored by a large number of scholars,and also been widely used in teaching.However,studies that apply Micro-class to English teaching are few,and much fewer to English grammar teaching of senior high school.Based on the Constructivism Theory and Miniature Learning Theory,this study is devoted to the application of Micro-class to English grammar teaching in senior high school.Adopting both quantitative and qualitative research methods,it mainly attempts to solve the following two questions: one is how to apply Micro-class to English grammar teaching,and the other is whether it is effective.To answer these two questions,this thesis puts forward design principles and design flow of Micro-class,and provides some situations that Micro-class can be used.Besides,a specific teaching case is offered.On this basis,a teaching experiment that lasts 10 weeks,testing the effect of Micro-class in grammar teaching is carried out.The teaching experiment is conducted by means of questionnaire,test,interview and so on.Relevant information and data are collected during the experiment,and then processed to get the results.The study finds that the application of Micro-class to English grammar teaching can improve students' grades to some extent.Furthermore,the questionnaire and interview survey after the teaching experiment both attest that Micro-class plays a part in increasing students' interest and improving the motivation of learning English grammar.
