| Since the 1980 s,the study on teacher burnout has become more and more important to researchers in the field of education.As it turns out,teaching profession has long been a career burnout.But as primary school principal,especially female principal is a special group of principals in the primary school.They face more difficulties and more complex challenges than male principals,which should be related to the traditional concept of gender roles in our country.In China’s thousands of years of social development,the traditional concept of male or female has been formed.In the eyes of most people,the achievement of a man’s career is a matter of natural and economic significance.However,for women,it seems more important to be a good wife and mother.Even though society advocates equality between men and women now,traditional ideas are deeply rooted in generations of people.Primary school female principals’ job burnout and stress are partly from the family;It also comes from their own characteristics,personality,physical,psychological aspect;what’s more,it includes social,school,education organization and other aspects of work.Under so many heavy pressures,there must be job burnout,what’s worse,female principals’ development will be severely restricted.Through the questionnaire survey to primary school female principals group in XX City of the urban area,we found that the primary school female principals groups generally have different degree of job burnout: they lack of passion,bear work and mental pressure,enjoy low sense of achievement.Age,title,education,tenure,family,working conditions,and self-employment development all influence the career development of primary school female principals.It is the social,organizational and personal reasons that influence primary school female principals’ job burnout.In terms of society,it is mainly the fetters of traditional gender roles,the conflicts of female principals’ roles brought by gender stereotypes,and gender discrimination brought by gender policies.On the basis of organizational factors,there are mainly complex interpersonal relationships,the pressure of teaching and research,unreasonable evaluation and evaluation mechanism.In terms of its own situation,it is mainly the subjective consciousness of its own development and its multiple role play.In terms of the current situation,the countermeasures for the job burnout of the female principal in primary school are as follows: 1.Optimizing the social environment;2.Strengthen organizational support;3.Improve your own quality. |
