English Negative Academic Emotion refers to the sum of various negative emotions which are directly related to English learning and outcome.Middle school students face heavy schoolwork and pressures in the study likely to experiencenegative emotions,and negative academic emotions will directly affect the academic achievement to a great extent,so to explore the influencing factors of negative academic emotions and targeted intervention,it is very helpful to improve English academic achievement.In this paper,based on academic emotion theory,academic emotion factors,emotional intervention research on the theory and practice of literature,the writer explore how academic emotional intervention effect on English negative academic emotions.Based on "Youth Academic Emotion Questionnaire","My class Questionnaire","Self Efficacy Scale" questionnaire,the writer choose some eighth graders(N=301)in Chenzhou City,Hunan Province as the research objects.Randomly select two classes,one as the experimental class(N=45),one as the reference class(N=54)to study the characteristics and the relationship between class environment and self-efficacy of students English negative academic emotions,and the use of rational emotive therapy,by playing games,role-playing,experience sharing,cognitive conflicting,brainstorming for nearly two months.The conclusions are as follows:1,Eighth graders' negative English academic emotions are beyond average leval,and there is no significant difference in gender;2,Group counseling activities have a positive influence on students' negative academic emotions;3,Adapting the environment,communication,cooperation and competition,innovation practice,correct attribution,learning management and other aspects of psychological counseling can help students correct attitude towards learning,learn to clear and improve the learning interest,and establish learning goals,so as to achieve the purpose of regulating the negative academic emotions.
