A Study On Teaching Chinese Euphemism To Intermediate Chinese Learners In Korea

Euphemism comes from all aspects of social life,the continuous progress of the society promotes euphemism itself development,and the changes of the times enrich euphemism's connotations.Therefore,euphemism can not only help us communicate in daily life,but also help us learn Chinese culture.For learners of Chinese language,in the process of verbal communication,what they need is not only to ensure the correctness of the words,but also pay attention to its appropriateness.Euphemism teaching is the emphasis of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Chinese euphemism,as an essential Chinese language skill to every learners of Chinese language,is worthy of study and explore by educators who teaching Chinese to foreigners.Based on the ontology research of Chinese euphemism,this paper finds out the current problems existing in the teaching of Chinese euphemism in Korea by combining the present situation of Chinese euphemism teaching in Pusan Foreign Language High School,and emphasizing the status and function of euphemism in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and the necessity of Chinese euphemism teaching.According to the HSK vocabulary and Chinese Euphemism Dictionary,a questionnaire survey was conducted on all the learners of Chinese language in Pusan Foreign Language High School,including the first,second and third graders.And then the writer analyzed the results of the survey and the causes of errors.The third chapter introduces the teaching methods of Chinese euphemism in Pusan Foreign Language High School,including three parts: activity teaching,oral language teaching and encouragement type teaching.The last chapter puts forward some suggestions for the teaching of Chinese euphemism in Korea,and my solution to the present situation of Chinese euphemism teaching in Korea.
