The project teaching method focuses on practical projects.It can stimulate students’ interest in learning,and promote students’ better mastery of professional knowledge and skills,and improve their professional quality.At present,it is one of common and practical teaching methods in secondary vocational schools in China.However,the author finds out that the current evaluation model of project teaching has the problems that the evaluation subject is mostly the teacher,and that the evaluation content is biased towards project results and the mastery of knowledge and skills by means of the investigation.Combining the characteristics of the project teaching method with the characteristics of students in secondary vocational schools,this paper designs the process evaluation of the project teaching method to make the evaluation run through all aspects of the project teaching method.It not only evaluates the project results,but also evaluates the project process.And the dimension of evaluation extends from one dimension of knowledge and skill to three dimensions of knowledge and skill,process and method,emotion attitude and values.And the evaluation subject extends from teachers to teachers and students.Finally,this paper applies the designed process evaluation to the project teaching practice,and explores the feasibility and effectiveness of the process evaluation in project teaching.According to the observation in class,questionnaires and interviews after class,it is verified that the process evaluation can be applied to the project teaching method,and the effect is good.It can not only stimulate and support students to participate in every aspect of project teaching actively,but also motivate students to pay more attention to the study of learning methods,the experience of learning process,self-reflection and self-evaluation.And it can also promote students’ learning,mastery,transfer and application of knowledge and skills.
