The migrant workers' children school there is a strange phenomenon in the practice of English teaching.Some students interested in learning English in primary school,but after entering junior middle school,suddenly showed revulsion and disgust in learning English.In fact,this phenomenon reflects the cohesion problem between primary school and junior middle school.In this study,Taking N school of Chenghua district as example.Based on the theory of continuity and stages of students' physical and mental development,and cognitive development theory,the zone of proximal development theory,constructivism theory analysis and discussion,and puts forward the corresponding strategies to solve the problem.Through the investigation,found out the children between primary school and junior middle school in English teaching has the following problems: students do not adapt to the textbook;the students' learning motivation is not clear,low interest in learning English;low participation in the English class.The children of migrant workers has its particularity in English learning,such as family mobility,introverted withdrawn,English learning foundation is weak,the lack of language learning and communication environment,parents lack of supervision.In view of the above problems,the author puts forward some strategies such as strengthening the cohesion of teaching materials and courses,enhancing the sense of cohesion,strengthening communication between teachers,promoting students' learning ability and establishing family education.
