The Research On The Construction Of The Teaching Staff In Independent Colleges

"The prominence of a university lies not in its building,but in its faculty".Independent college,a new product of the rapid development of higher education in China,combines the advantages of the traditional public schools and private schools,including the preciseness of running schools in the former and the flexibility of management in the latter.The number one thing an independent college faces could be the teaching staff construction,which not only determines the survival of the independent college,but also determines the width and depth of private higher education development.Only by constantly improving the quality of teaching,can the development of the independent college be carried further and better.Therefore,an independent college should construct its own teaching troop with a high ideological and moral consciousness,professional level,high quality,reasonable structure according to its own development status and prospects.In this way,can it truly move toward independence.This paper mainly studies the construction of the teachers' team in Northwestern Polytechnical University Mingde College,making theoretical analysis of the existing problems and the causes and putting forward the solution to the problems.Afterwards,the author applys the results to Mingde College of Northwestern Polytechnical University,finally getting the practical research results.The paper is made up of five parts.In the introduction part,the authors reviews and catalogues the independent college teacher-construction-related documents and data,and on this basis,the author relates the research background,purpose,significance and research results at home and abroad briefly.In the first part,the author gives an overview of the independent college,the independent school's characteristics,and the construction of the faculty of independent colleges.In the second part,the authors studies the status of the development of Mingde College faculty construction,obtaining firsthand material through the questionnaire and sorting and analyzing on these data.In the third part,based on the statistical analysis of the questionnaire data of teacher's construction in Mingde College,the author finds out the following problems: There is a shortage of full-time teachers in the construction of teachers,and the level is not high;Teacher's construction is lack of rationality;the teacher's troop structure is not stable;Teacher's management system is not sound and the practice teaching and scientific research ability is not high.Later in this part,the author analyzes the reasons related to those problems.In the fourth part,based on the training target of the independent college and the practical problems in the construction of the teachers' troop in Mingde College,the author puts forward the selections for the construction of teachers' troop in Mingde College,including constructing rational teacher's troop,improving the level of teachers,optimizing the structure of teachers,attaching great importance to the construction of stable teacher's troop and long-term development mechanism,establishing and perfecting the teacher's troop construction,and improving teachers' practice and scientific research ability.
