Informatization is the inevitable trend of the developing society nowadays,so is it in the field of education.In recent years,with the rapid development of education informatization and the vigorous implementation of basic education reform,our country has made a new attempt in teaching.In the past,traditional teaching methods of mathematics,teachers generally use teacher-centered method,where teachers lecture,leading the consequences that students lack the ability to think independently.However,mathematics is a basic subject which requires strong logic,this traditional method is not conducive to the development of students' logical thinking,especially in the eighth grade.With the increase of learning task and difficulty,part of the students can't keep up with the teacher's thinking,and their interest in mathematics are gradually reduced,their academic performance are declining,and their grades are obviously polarized.Therefore,in order to lay a solid foundation as well as cultivate students' interest in learning mathematics,improve the efficiency of mathematics teaching,strengthen students' mathematical thinking,we will introduce “micro video” into mathematics teaching.This thesis paper first uses literature research approach to analyze the status of micro video in China and abroad;combines the micro video and its related concepts;discusses the characteristics of micro video itself and the current stage micro video application in Chinese teaching.Then,through designing and producing mathematics teaching micro video,using the experimental research method in two classes of eighth grade from Zhuhai No.8 Middle School,Guangdong,micro video application in mathematics teaching practice are carried out for an academic year.Finally,through the experimental class and control class,two classes are compared with the grades of entrance exam results and final exam results.Afterwards,an analysis be given on the effect of micro video application in teaching,along with the mathematics teaching strategy according to the actual operation of the arrangement principle and design of micro video micro video teaching strategies in junior middle school.At the same time,after practice,the students and teachers are informed of the attitude of micro video into mathematics teaching through questionnaires.With the rapid development of education informationization,there is still a lot of space for micro video in mathematics teaching.Reflecting on the traditional teaching methods,we hope to improve the teaching efficiency through the use of micro video in the future teaching practice,and also hope that this thesis paper can contribute to the development of micro video teaching in mathematics.
