Benefiting from the rapid development of information technology,new media technologies such as mobile learning,online education and flipped classroom,etc.,are increasingly widely applied in education and teaching fields.Micro course,as a kind of rising new teaching method,becomes popular with and recognized by many education workers because of its prominent advantages including strong pertinence,short time period,convenient communication,prominent themes and concrete content,etc.Physical theories are fundamental and crucial knowledge in physics subject in that the degree of students' commands to such theories will directly influence students' persistent interests to studying physics.Many students have bad physics academic performances and little studying interests just owing to their bad commands of fundamental theories.At present,although there are many domestic and abroad researches and investigations having been done relating to micro courses,little efforts have been taken to do experimental researches by combing micro courses with the teaching of junior middle school physical theories.Hence,it should be noted that applying micro courses to the teaching attempts of junior middle school physics is of great practical meaning to break down current dilemma for concept teaching.This paper chose 7 township junior middle schools with similar student pools in Zhongshan City,Guangdong Province.The author investigated the overall teaching conditions of physical theories and discussed the feasibilities of introducing micro courses to the teaching of physical theories.Also,teaching experiments have been done in the eighth and ninth grade in Shalan Middle school to explore how to enhance teaching efficiencies through micro courses from six perspectives including:cultivating self-learning habits and exploration spirits,middlelighting experimental details,the adverse influences of scientific theories before the transformation,distinguishing easily confused concepts and extending students' observation angles.Practices show that applying micro courses to assist the teaching of junior middle school physical theories can improve students' academic performances,enhance students' interests to studying physical theories,enhance students' scientific exploration abilities,incorporate different needs from students,promote teachers' professional development and improve the teaching efficiency of junior middle school physical theories compared with traditional teaching methods.
