School-based training plays an indispensable role in promoting professional development of teachers and in building the characters of a school.Based on the school-based training activity of Famous Teachers and Great masters Enter the Campus initiated by H School,this study analyzes the basic operation mode of the activity,and explores the practical results yielded in practice,thus reflecting on the experience and lessons in project management.The author presents a case study of the school-based training activity of Famous Teachers and Great masters Enter the Campus,through which H School intends to improve the teachers'teaching practice ability,mainly by means of observational and conversational method.This thesis dissects the backgrounds,the aims,the content,the implementation and the results of this activity.It has been discovered that the activity of Famous Teachers and Great masters Enter the Campus brings H School's distinctive teaching practice ability training model into being.Such a training model is composed of three stages and ten links.Stage 1,namely pre-activity,includes concept guiding and collective course grinding.Stage 2,namely while-activity,covers concurrent lesson conducting,instant lesson interpretation,lesson analysis,expert lectures and master-apprentice pairing.Stage 3,namely post-activity,comprises further teaching research,internal transformation and continuous promotion.This training model makes a good success inpromoting professional development of teachers and in improving teachers' teaching practice ability.This thesis has made an analysis of its successful experience.First,the project is set on a high vision so as to serve for the school development strategy.Second,training aims are detailed and accurate to promote teachers' professional growth.Third,training content is coherent and is close to teaching practice.Fourth,the training focuses on actual effect and is able to promote teachers' deep reflection.Fifth,teachers play an active role in the training and enjoy professional development.Sixth,the experts possess both theoretical and practical abilities.Seventh,organization and management are in place to make the activity proceed smoothly.Besides,there still remain some problems to be solved in this activity.Firstly,project implement is of hard intensity owing to the short time and the heavy task.Secondly,it is of great difficulty to balance numerous subjects,some of which are barely satisfactory.Thirdly,the evaluation system is unsound because more attention is paid to the implement but less to the reflection.All these result from the following 3 causes.Too much stress is placed on efficiency and effectiveness.Some certain subjects are short of competent leaders.Additionally,the project's systematicness is given too little care.Therefore,the following proposals are put forward.1.To improve the evaluation system and perfect the evaluation rules.2.To highlight the status of training institutions and optimize training programs.3.To innovate the training forms and enhance the training effects on and outcampus.4.To Deepen the training content to cultivate teachers' hierarchical teaching design ability.5.To plan and design subordinate subjects creatively and ensure full coverage of all teachers.6.To lock the range of teacher training and enhance the training effects.7.To pay more humane concern and control training frequency.8.To refine the training hierarchical aims and clarify the teachers' training focus.
