Facing to all students,focusing in needs of student's integrated and lifelong development,enhancing every student's accomplishment of biological science,to pay more attention to student's development and society's demands,paying more attention to student's existing life experiences and emphasizing student's initiative study are required by the new Full-time Compulsory Education Biological Curriculum Standard(experimental manuscript)(Hereinafter referred to as “Standard”).Under the general background of unaltered exam-oriented education,however,the reality is student with heavy learning burden and pressure,but biology in junior middle school is a low proportion amongst the entrance exam for high school,even somewhere without the examination.So that the biology in junior middle school has lost purpose in the entrance exam for high school,and student's learning initiative is very low,with a slack manner.For changing this actuality,adapted to development of the times and request of the "Standard",I think what policies implementing in biology education in junior middle school can improve student's learning initiative,impetus and school record?The appreciation education is one kind of respecting student's growth law,is the life and love education,and is full of humanity and vitality education.The appreciation education is not simply praises and encouragement,but recognizes child's good behavior result and strengthens child's behavior.Through recognizing good behavior child's learning interest and motive is stimulated.Theoretical basis of the appreciation education rationale mainly are Rosenthal's expectation effect,Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,Gardner's multiple-intelligence theory and James Dobson's reinforcing principle etc.Based on above understanding and on the basis of full grasping the junior middle school curriculum standard,the author uses for reference of relevant theoretical achievements of the appreciation education,to focus on junior middle school biology teaching practice,a study of influence of appreciation education on biology teaching effect in middle school has done with two classes,first grade of Wanzhou No.3 middle school,Chongqing municipality through documentary method,questionnaire method and experimental method etc.Experimental result indicates that before using the appreciation education on biology teaching in junior middle school,students' score is no significant difference(P>0.05)between the control class and experimental class.After two months of implementing appreciation education,there is a significant difference(P<0.05)that average score of the experimental class is higher than the control class.This is accounted for the appreciation education to the benefit of students' average study score.In terms of their interest in biological learning,there is a extremely significant difference between the two classes after the experiment(P < 0.01),which indicates that appreciation education has a very obvious effect on the improvement of students' interest in learning.The self-confidence index of experimental class student is also higher than the control class'(P<0.05),this indicates that appreciation education can increase student's learning self-confidence.On learning motivation there is no significant difference(P>0.05)between the control class and experimental class,but there is a significant difference(P<0.05)before and after experiment of the experimental class student's learning motivation,and there is no significant difference(P>0.05)before and after experiment of the control class student.It indicates that the appreciation education can also increase the student's motivation of learning biology.Through this research,the author think that the appreciation education can be implemented by seizing the appreciative opportunity and giving award timely to varying with each individual and different ability,persevering award with the utmost sincerity and cordiality.The appreciation education may carry on through the below strategy: language and words,behavior act and simple material reward.
