Research On Employment Of Independent College Students

In recent years,with the adjustment of China's economic structure,our economic growth has been slowed down,the annual number of new jobs also decreased.However,the number of newly employed people has remained at a high level every year.The imbalance between supply and demand is increasing and the employment problem of college students is outstanding.Independent colleges are in line with the trend of popularization of higher education in China.Different from the traditional management mode of ordinary colleges and universities,independent colleges introduce the social capital to run schools and adopt market-oriented running mechanism.From 1999 to now,a large number of talents have been delivered to our country,it is a "booster" for the popularization of higher education.However,due to the short running time of independent colleges,the lack of brand building in schools and their limited understanding in the society,the situation of undergraduates in independent colleges is even more severe.Based on the collection of documents and questionnaires,taking an independent college in Beijing as an example,this paper analyzes the current employment situation of undergraduates in the independent colleges as well as faced with the employment problem.After that a detailed analysis of the causes of employment problems has been made,and then put forward some specific solutions for these employment problems.The study found that all walks of life have taken various measures to solve the employment problem of college students,some achievements have been made.However,the current employment situation of independent college students is still grim,the number of employment is large,and the overall employment level needs to be improved.And in employment there are still "special discrimination" phenomenon,the quality of students and employers do not meet the needs and other issues.The reasons are:one is the contradiction between the independent college market mechanism and the traditional university management mode;the other is that the social recognition degree is not high;the third is the imperfect education system of the independent college;the fourth is the students' employment competitiveness is insufficient;In the face of the current severe employment situation and employment difficulties,how to solve the employment problem of independent college students is what we need to focus on.The solution to the employment problem of independent college students needs to integrate the power of the society,from the government to the enterprise,from the college to the students need to work hard.First of all,the government should increase its support to create a good employment environment;Secondly,employers need to establish a correct concept of employment,in-depth promotion of cooperation between schools and enterprises;Thirdly,independent colleges highlight the characteristics of running schools,improve the quality of running schools and broaden employment channels;Finally,students should improve their overall quality,make full employment preparation.
