Research Into The Factors Affecting The High Level Of Entrepreneurial Intention Among The University Students

In recent years,with the enrollment expansion of colleges and universities,the number of college graduates is increasing year by year,and the employment opportunities are scarce,and employment difficulties for university graduates have become a common phenomenon in today's society.Entrepreneurship as a substitute for employment has become an option for more and more college graduates,but the data show that the percentage of college students who choose to start their own businesses is still relatively small.How to increase the proportion of entrepreneurs,and allow more students to carry out entrepreneurial activities have gradually become topics that government and universities attach great importance to.The entrepreneurial intentions of college students have a direct impact on their entrepreneurial behavior,and entrepreneurial intention is the best predictor of entrepreneurial behavior.Studying the influencing factors of college students' entrepreneurial intentions can fundamentally understand the entrepreneurial problems of college students,so as to provide governments and universities with reasonable and effective advice and suggestions on how to encourage and support entrepreneurship for college students,then alleviate the realistic employment pressure.This study uses a combination of quantitative research and qualitative research to explore the influencing factors of college students' high level of entrepreneurial intention.Study one: In this part,840 college students in Hebei province were investigated through the “individual entrepreneurial intention scale” to understand the overall situation of their entrepreneurial intention level,and analyze their differences in demographic variables.The average number of entrepreneurial intentions of college students in Hebei Province is 19.42±4.933,and the level of entrepreneurial intention is at a medium level.The first 27% subjects(226)with higher scores were selected as the subjects of high entrepreneurial intention level.Study two: Combined with the willingness of subjects selected in the study,30 samples were selected by convenience sampling method,and implicit association test was performed.The results of the experiment showed that the implicit effect of college students with high explicit entrepreneurial intention level was significant.The scores of all the subjects were ranked in descending order,and subjects with higher scores were selected as subjects with high implicit level of entrepreneurial intention.Study three: Based on the willingness of the participants and the purpose of the study,four subjects were selected for the interview from the participants selected in the second study.Through the analysis of the content of the interviews,the study constructed a root theory and explored the factors that affect their high entrepreneurial intention level.Above all,the conclusions are as follows: personal characteristics of college students,the support and leading role of the social supporting system,the perception of professionalism,employment prospects and future planning considerations,personal growth and changes brought about by the entrepreneurial experience,the support of national policies for entrepreneurship,and the effective utilization of resources,the use of diverse technological innovations,the promotion of media related to entrepreneurship,etc.affect entrepreneurial intentions of college students.First,the entrepreneurial level of Hebei college students is generally at a medium level.There are significant differences in the level of entrepreneurial intention among college students in Hebei Province in terms of gender,grade,and major.And no significant differences in other demographic variables.Second,a majority of college students with a higher level of explicit entrepreneurial intention have a higher level of implicit entrepreneurial intention.Third,the personal characteristics of college students influence the level of high entrepreneurial intentions of college students.Fourth,the support and leading role of the social supporting system affect the level of high entrepreneurial intention of college students.Fifth,the perception of professionalism,employment prospects and future planning considerations affects the level of high entrepreneurial intentions of college students.Sixth,the support of national policies for entrepreneurship affects the level of high entrepreneurial intentions of college students.Seventh,personal growth and changes brought about by the entrepreneurial experience affect the level of high entrepreneurial intentions of college students.Eighth,Other factors that affect the level of college students' high entrepreneurial intentions include: the effective utilization of resources,the use of diverse technological innovations,the promotion of media related to entrepreneurship,etc.
