Since the university increase their enrollment,the number of college graduates in China has increased rapidly,and the attendant employment problems have existed in the labor market.Domestic scholars gradually began to pay attention to the relationship between employment and the increase of enrollment,while some scholars began to study China’s over-education problems.Most of the researchers in our country based on the relevant theories and methods abroad.At the same time,China has different characteristics on over-education.Therefore,it is one of the hotspot of economics,sociology and pedagogy to study the problem of over-education with specific national conditions.This paper uses the database of China Comprehensive Social Survey(CGSS)to study the trend of over-education,which using the methods of Job analysis and Yield analysis.First of all,this paper analyzes over-education in our country on the statistic,which using Job analysis method,and verifies the existence of over-education phenomenon,as well as studies the tendency of the over-education.Secondly,the order-logit model is used to analyze the factors that affect the over-education.The results of the model show that the individual characteristics,family factors and working characteristics of the laborers will lead to different levels of over-education.The study also gives these factors the trend of marginal influence on the incidence of over-education.Then,the paper uses the method of Yield analysis to study the rate of return of education and over-education.The results show that the trend of over-education in China is increasing and the rate of increase is gradually increasing.At the same time,the trend of over-education between male and female groups is analyzed,and the analysis of China’s special regional differences is analyzed.The situation of over-education in the Midwest,and explains the possible causes of this trend.Finally,according to the corresponding conclusion drawn in the article:although the method of Yield analysis cannot give the specific amount of over-education,but can be a qualitative point of view of the trend of over-education.At the same time,the results of these two methods are basically the same,that is,the method of Yield analysis can also be used as a feasible method to study the problem of over-education.At the end of this article,the author,based on the conclusion of the article,gives some suggestions on how to alleviate the problem of over-education:the individual should establish a correct view of employment,and the enterprise should formulate a reasonable talent screening scheme according to its specific needs.To alleviate the over-education resulting from policy constraints and other aspects.
