Vocational education plays a very important part in our whole education system because it is responsible for cultivating high-quality technicians.However,the level of our vocational education still needs to be improved.Educational informatization is the key factor for breaking the bottleneck of the revolution and development of education.According to the educational regulations and policies of our country,the Education Bureau in D city organized and impelled the reform of English and other foudamental subjects.The vocational school where the writer works is one of the 12 reforming pilot schools in D city.English plays an important role in improving the comprehensive qualities of the students and benefiting their careers.So the main topic of the essay is about English informationized teaching in vocational schools and its definitions,functions,specific methods and effects.Through reading and researching amount of books,magazines,essays and websites,the writer knew about the definitions and features of informationized education.It establishes a consolidated theory foundation for the research.The foundation of English informationized teaching is technology.To make the research targeted,the writer visited four vocational schools in D city,she surveyed the scores of senior high school entrance examination from the students who are in Grade 2016 in the four schools.The questionnaire also revealed the learning status of these students for finding out the what we should solve in our teaching.The writer also investigated the status of English informationized teaching by attending lectures and meetings.The writer did the research by case study method.Take Situational Language Teaching、Task Driving Teaching Method and Cooperative Teaching as examples to introduce how to use them under informationized circumstance to improve the teaching effects.For the students,they can learn autonomously,and analytically with the help of information technology.At last,the writer indicates the conclusions,problems and measures.With the help of our government,the facilities will be modernized gradually,the learning resources for vocational education will be more and better,the teaching abilities of the teachers will be improved,the learning results will be more effective and the English teaching in vocational schools must be improved.
