The Application Of Anchored Instruction In English Vocabulary Teaching In Senior High School

Student's English learning is based on English vocabulary,and as a teacher,during daily classroom teaching,to enable students to obtain a satisfactory learning effect,it is necessary to fully mobilize the interest of learning and to develop good learning habits and master the efficient learning methods.Therefore,to achieve this goal,we must be innovative in teaching methods.Through questionnaires,interviews and final written questions and answers and classroom observations,the author found that first of all,most of the students' interest in vocabulary learning is not strong,lacking of learning motivation;Second,most of the students' methods to learn English vocabulary is very single and rigid;Again,most students are currently dissatisfied with their English vocabulary learning outcomes and levels;Finally,most students think that the current teaching methods adopted by teachers is not very good.Therefore,based on the above analysis of existing problems,the author believed that it is necessary to carry out experimental research on anchored teaching in high school vocabulary classroom.Based on the theory of anchored teaching under the guidance of constructivist learning theory,this paper will explore the application effect of anchored teaching in high school English vocabulary teaching through a semester teaching experiment.I found that anchored teaching can give high school English classroom into vitality and motivation,greatly improved the students' self-learning awareness and classroom initiative.For the current English teaching,boring machinery teaching methods and learning methods,the integration and use of anchor teaching,effectively improved the teacher's teaching methods and students' learning methods,and met today's China's English teaching reform and examination-oriented education.
